is a teacher in heart and soul, in highschool as in the yoga shala.

She is a certified Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Pre and Postnatal Yoga teacher and teaches a Yin Yang yoga class Thursdays. Her Yin Yang yoga class incorporates both the strengthening, heating yang practice as well as the deep stretching, meditative yin approach. If you want to find a practice that covers the everday needs: the physically challenging, moving experience for the body aswell as your minds wish to calm down and become quiet this is your class.

The Yin Yang yoga class will enable you to finish your day in a harmonious, balanced way, your body and mind are both prepared for a deep and restorative sleep. Her Yin Yang yoga classes lead you through Ashtanga Vinyasa sequences and Yin postures, but also contain Iyengar yoga teachings and Pranayama (breathing techniques).

The breath is her master tool to focus your consciousness towards the asanas and the energetic, emotional state you are in.

Véroniques anatomical knowledge and teaching skills give your practice a really safe ground. Many years of yoga teaching and her background as a sport teacher allow her to see your individual body alignment and adapt or help you to adapt your asanas approprietly.

Her yoga path started in 2006. Since then she has been studying Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga mainly.

Both practices made and still make her experience the physical and energetic body and taught her to use asana practice as a tool to „detox“ the body and calm the mind. Besides those two Yoga styles she got a lot of inspiration from different Vinyasa, Jivamukti and Mantra teachers.

Yin Yoga was brought to her more than 10 years ago, but only couple of years ago it became another part of her yoga studies.

She bows down in gratitude and devotion to her teacher Katiza Satya.

Living and working as a highschool teacher in Basel she values her self practice and daily meditation but enjoys joining different classes and teachers.
