Friday’s with Anna:

Vinyasa Flow followed with yin

18.15-19.30

Anna began practicing the yoga asanas as a teen during her years of pre-professional ballet training. She was drawn to the physical challenge paired with deep muscle release. But it wasn't until her young adult years that she began seeking more from her yoga practice.

In 2019 Anna traveled to the birthplace of yoga in the foothills of the Himalayas; Rishikesh, India. There she completed her 200 RYT with an Ashtanga concentration at the Association for Yoga and Meditation. During her time at AYM, she was introduced to and fascinated by the Ayurvedic sciences. She went on to study with Dr. Shreejit Ghadigaonkar to complete training as an Ayurveda therapist. Since then, she has continued to study the Ayurvedic sciences, Yoga Nidra, and is currently working towards a 100-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Certification.

Anna's classes focus on building strength, flexibility, and balance within the body while staying with the breath. She encourages students to tune into what they need on their mats in the moment. Finding the space and discipline to challenge mind, body, and spirit but also recognizing when to find softness and rest.

I look forward to practicing with you soon!
