Connected Movement: Unlearning Through Moving
with Michael Guralnik
Saturday, September 26th,
18.00-20.00
20 chf / 10 chf for Unlimited Pass Looking Glass Members
Think of the wide-eyed curiosity of a toddler discovering the world for the first time — that's the feeling Connected Movement invites you back to. This hands-on practice blends time-tested body wisdom with modern movement science to help you notice your microhabits: the small, unconscious patterns your body repeats every day without you realizing it. Once you can see these patterns, you can start to change them, bringing more ease and flexibility into everyday life — not just on a yoga mat.
Curious to see it in motion? Watch a short video introduction to Connected Movement: https://youtu.be/afBCyWjjbGw
In this workshop, you will experience:
The Living Mirror — interactive pair work that uses your partner as a mirror, offering unexpected clarity by seeing your own movement through someone else's eyes.
The Power of Play — playful challenges framed as a shared quest, lowering the emotional stakes and inviting genuine engagement.
Integrated Traditions — a unique synthesis of Qigong and Feldenkrais movement principles, Ninjutsu interaction models for environmental awareness, and acupuncture-based palpation for perceiving and offering comfort to others.
Deep Release — a somatic meditation that quiets the nervous system and releases tension in ways active exercise alone often can't reach.
This seminar is fully inclusive: no prior experience is required, and it is open to individuals in any physical condition. Come as you are.
After class, stay for a cup of tea — an informal chance to keep the conversation going, share what came up for you, and ask questions.
About the Facilitator Michael Guralnik is an experienced acupuncturist, bodywork therapist (Shiatsu, Tuina, Massage), and dedicated martial artist who has spent decades exploring the intersection of movement and health. A certified teacher of Qigong, the Feldenkrais Method, and Ninjutsu, Michael developed Connected Movement to bridge the gap between clinical therapy and recreational wellness — rooted in the belief that learning to listen to our own bodies builds our capacity to better care for others.
