About
Nele
Monday’s 20.00-21.15
In Nele’s life movement, bodywork and music always played a very important role. Within yoga she found all these parts melting together. Helping to reconnect to the body and finding a path to yourSelf.
Getting in touch with yoga, she learned there are wonderful tools which can pick you up wherever you are to ground yourself, become more aware of your body, thoughts and feelings. It has beautiful possibilities to create stillness in body and mind, and teaches you how to let go.
Besides her own practice, Nele gained different experiences in bodywork through a classic massage course and basic TCM acupressure course at the Biomedica. By joining the foundation course of thai-yoga-massage, she had the opportunity to experience and learn about the magic of sacred dance and healing touch. After practicing yoga for many years at The Looking Glass Basel with her beautiful teacher Kristen, she decided to complete the 300 hour Jivamukti teacher training in India. Following her apprenticeship and travels through India, she started teaching at The Looking Glass Basel. To deepen and widen her knowledge she also assisted the Fertile Ground Teacher Training 2019.
As she has many different interests in life, Nele’s yoga practice supports her in managing the dance between her different roles as tailor, bicycle courier, mother...
During pregnancy, her yoga practice was always on her side. Helping to experience the changes of the body and emotions. Knowing how to breathe and move in a conscious way is an amazing tool on this sweet journey of pregnancy, birth and the life with a little holy being at her side.
In her classes she loves to give to the students what she received from her teachers, which she is always grateful for. She loves to create a space to be. A space to remember who you are. And explore yourself in curiosity and joyfulness.
