In 2011, my journey with yoga first began when I encountered it during my dance trainings at that time. Since then, I’ve explored many various yoga styles and methods and have deepened my passion for the practices and intentions for sharing them.
In 2023, I completed my first Vinyasa and Yin Yoga teacher training and have been teaching weekly classes since. Shortly thereafter, I also completed a Hormone Yoga teacher training. I also share prenatal classes.
These experiences have shaped my teaching style: calm, powerful, and infused with a dance-like flair.
For me, yoga is more than just a practice—it’s a way of life. I love chanting and playing the harmonium, and will bring this into my classes alongside the vinyasa practice as there is so much more to yoga than only the asanas.
With my three children, I am always on the go, and yoga helps me to find both balance and calmness in my daily life. I am constantly reminded of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra 1.2 : “Yogas chitta vritti nirodhah”—Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind…
I look forwards to sharing the different aspects of yoga practices with you on the mat weekly at The Looking Glass Basel.
