Thursdays: Vinyasa 9.00-10.15 / Saturdays by donation community class- vinyasa

Growing up in Florence, Italy, in a diverse and stimulating social environment, Sara was fortunate enough to find her first Yoga teachers, although initially unknowingly, among her family and friends.  In this strong and supportive setting, she realized that Life is a journey of continuous learning; that each day offers new valuable lessons; that every being can become a teacher; all you need to do is just observing and keeping an open mind.

She studied Private International Law in Italy, with a particular focus on the minors protection, but her move to Basel, Switzerland, distanced her from her technical work. She chose to follow Love, but not just that: she chose to embrace change, and thus she remembered that adults also need care and attention, and that they too often seek a place where they can feel at home and safe from everything.

Aware that this safe place is found within ourselves, practicing Yoga has revived the tools at her disposal to return home wherever she is, and she has discovered new and valuable ones. She realized that the harmony between body, mind, and Spirit is an ever-evolving and necessary journey, and therefore, she decided to dedicate herself more deeply to the study of this discipline.

In 2023, she completed her first 250-hour Teacher Training - Fertile Ground - at Studio The Looking Glass in Basel, during which she further developed her interest in teaching, meditation, breathing process, philosophy, and anatomy.

In 2024, she completed 250 hours of Advanced Mentorship - Blossom - with Kristen Watson Geering, the owner of Studio The Looking Glass, becoming particularly passionate about the assistance offered to students through physical touch, moving gently from here toward the contact between the Selves.  Recognizing the special connection that is created between teacher and student during lessons, is incredibly enriching for her.

Aware of how much she has received and continues to receive from her teachers, both in class and outside each studio, she has chosen to share those same teachings along with her own experiences by starting to offer yoga classes.  Her routine is based on the idea that the body is the instrument, peace of mind is the goal, breathing is the connection between the two.

Each practice serves as a metaphor for Life, aimed at bringing us home: the search for stability amidst opposing energies; the balance between strength and flexibility, determination and kindness; the journey from chaos to silence.

Honored to offer ICPs (in-class-privates, providing private assistance during another teacher’s class), she also offers 1:1 private classes.

Grateful for the opportunity to teach Vinyasa classes and lead the Community Class at The Looking Glass studio.
